This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which you may request a refund or cancel a project.

By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms below.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all digital services provided by Codexa Design, including:

  • Shopify Development

  • WordPress Design & Development

  • WordPress Landing Pages

  • Logo Design

  • Domain & Hosting Services

  • Customer Support or Maintenance Plans

2. Project Confirmation & Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 30–50% of the total project cost) is required before any project begins.

  • The deposit confirms your booking and allows us to allocate resources and begin planning.

  • By paying the deposit, you agree to our Terms & Conditions and the project proposal.

3. Cancellations by the Client

You may cancel your project by sending a written request to billing@codexadesign.com.

Depending on the project stage:

  • Before work begins: Only the deposit is retained to cover administrative and preparation costs.

  • After work has started: You are responsible for payment of the completed portion of the project (based on progress and hours worked).

  • After delivery or completion: No refunds are available once final files, code, or deliverables have been provided.

4. Cancellations by Codexa Design

We reserve the right to cancel a project or service if:

  • The client fails to provide necessary information or materials within a reasonable time.

  • Payments are overdue beyond agreed terms.

  • The client engages in misconduct, misuse, or unethical behavior.

In such cases, Codexa Design may retain the deposit or charge for work completed to date.

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only available in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment made in error.

  • Project cancellation before any design or development work has started (excluding the deposit).

  • Service not delivered, due to unforeseen internal issues (very rare).

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Completed and delivered work

  • Domain or hosting services (as they are third-party services)

  • Custom code, design, or digital assets already shared with the client

  • “Change of mind” or lack of usage after service delivery

All refund requests are reviewed individually and must be submitted in writing.

6. Maintenance & Subscription Plans

For ongoing services (e.g., hosting, maintenance, or customer support plans):

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days’ notice.

  • No partial refunds are provided for unused periods of monthly or annual plans once the billing cycle has started.

  • Services remain active until the end of the paid period.

7. Processing Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days of confirmation.

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method only.

  • Any transaction or payment gateway fees are non-refundable.

8. Quality & Revisions

We strive for 100% client satisfaction.
If you’re not satisfied with the result, please contact us — we’ll work with you to make reasonable revisions based on your selected package.
However, repeated or major design changes outside the agreed scope may incur additional fees.

9. Exceptions (Non-Refundable Services)

The following services are non-refundable once purchased or activated:

  • Domain registration and renewal

  • Web hosting or email setup

  • Third-party app, plugin, or software licenses

  • Marketing, SEO, or paid advertising services

  • Completed logo or graphic design files

11. Legal Compliance
